Dedicated to the memory of Catherine McCartney Hart

My darling mother Catherine was the most giving and kind human being one could ever wish to meet. Her love of Christ saw her through trials and tribulations but her faith never flickered for a moment, solid and strong she remained. Her charity work and fund raising for Christian Aid was relentless as was all her other charitable projects. I think of my darling mother every minute of every day and the sense of her loss remains overwhelming. I am eternally thankful and grateful to our Lord for having chosen this wondrous woman to be my mother. She sang beautifully I can still hear her soprano tones delivering solos at many Christian events over the years and her admiration and sisterly love for Billy Graham never ceased. She arranged and led the Women's Guild, she prepared, wrote and delivered message after message at numerous Christian events over the years too, coffee mornings where she would be surrounded by cakes and pastries that she supplied for all the congregation as she did with flowers on a regular basis her car resembled Kew Gardens even when a hit and run driver smashed into it and fractured her leg not to mention shock she still carried on regardless and drove all the cakes and flowers safely till she got them to her church....nothing stopped nor got in the way of mum. Today May 1st is her birthday and without her my life is not the same nor will it ever be. My teacher, my confidante, my best friend, my Mother, I will love you eternally mum nothing will ever be the same without you and I will hold you close to me until that day when we shall meet again. God bless you my darling, ever and ever my love, your daughter Nicola.

Everyday held a favourite memory spent with my wonderful mum.
